He is also a choral singer, having performed under the direction of Craig Hella Johnson (of Grammy-winning Conspirare,) Robert Shaw, and with the Texas Early Music Project. Brian was also the founding director of Wren & Shark Record Collective, a non-profit record label where all proceeds go directly to the artist.
When not playing or teaching music, Brian is likely playing or coaching soccer. He has coached multiple select soccer teams with FIERCE United and FC Westlake, holds NSCAA Level 2 and USSF "D" Licenses, and plays in the AMSA with the Austin Athletic Club.
